Brandon Jennings is on his way to leading the Milwaukee Bucks to its first playoff series victory in several years without Andrew Bogut. Who would have ever thought at the beginning of the year that this Bucks squad would have made it this far. Brandon Jennings has been spectacular and the additions of Salmons, Stackhouse and Delfino have sparked this team. Tonight they get a chance to finish the Hawks off at home and I believe they will. What do you think?

So, we all want to monetize our users, but what’s the best way in doing so?
After taking a quick look at several different casual games, I’ve compiled a list of three different methods that companies use, in order to monetize its users. Let’s take a moment to quickly analyze these various ways, in order to find out which is the best one…
Destiny Awaits, or shall I say Lebron awaits for either the Chicago Bulls or the Toronto Raptors. Last night the Chicago Bulls did a masterful job in defeating the Boston Celtics. They showed grit and determination and provided a smothering defense that stifled much of Boston’s attack. Tonight, they have one more game to play on the road against the Charlotte Bobcats. The Charlotte Bobcats have one of the best defenses and also one of the best home records in the league and Larry Brown himself said that he would not rest his starters as this game still meant something to the Bulls and the Raptors. For that move, we can deem that Larry Brown is a class act and represents the league very well.
So, its safe to say, that if the Bulls are going to make the playoffs they are going to have to earn it. The Toronto Raptors on the other hand will have to defeat the New York Knicks to even have a chance. What do you think, how will this final night turn out? Do the Raptors even deserve to make the playoffs?
After taking a look at Zynga’s latest game Treasure Isle and playing it for about 15 minutes I started to wonder why I was hooked and why this game was in a way better than Farmville. Well, the obvious answer is that it takes a lot of game play elements from Farmville and transports them to Treasure Isle. For example, in Treasure Isle the player gets their own customizable island where they can grow crops and personalize in any way they want. However, where this game goes a step further Farmville does not.
In Treasure Isle, the main game play element has the player visiting different islands in order to dig for treasure, digging requires energy which forces you to either grow more crops, find more crops or buy more crops (crops=energy).
The hook, an Incentivized Reward System, where the player is rewarded when he/she continues to play the game. I believe that must successful games rely upon this game mechanic. In Treasure Isle, it is the idea of finding all the pieces of treasure if you keep digging and in Farmville it is the acquisition of cash and future unlockables if you keep planting more crops. Some people dislike the idea that Zynga is not being innovative and is basically duplicating their success with Farmville, but if I was them I would stick with what works, and they have obviously found a method that works. Last night the Cleveland Cavaliers cruised to victory against the Toronto Raptors. Chris Bosh was also injured in the process due to an inadvertent elbow from Antawn Jamison. Could things get any worse? Bosh better get back or our chances of getting into the playoffs could be even smaller. The Raptors’ hopes of getting to the playoffs are getting slimmer and slimmer, do you think they have a chance?
